E2U Shopper agreements
Version 2026-09. Please read all four sections. In the app, tick "I agree to these terms" to accept them.
1. Independent Contractor Agreement
- You work with E2U Delivery as an independent contractor, not as an employee. You choose when and whether to go online and which orders to accept.
- You provide your own vehicle, phone, fuel, and the insurance required by the state you drive in. Keep your license, registration and insurance current in the app.
- You are responsible for your own taxes. E2U collects a W-9 and sends tax forms as required by law.
- You may also work for other companies. Either side can end this agreement at any time by notice in the app or by email.
- E2U may pause or close your account for safety problems, fraud, repeated customer complaints, or breaking the rules of conduct.
2. How pay works
- Base pay: $8.00 for each completed delivery.
- Distance: +$2.00 when the drop-off is 8 to 12 miles from the store, +$4.00 when it is 12 miles or more.
- Video check: +$1.00 when you complete a video call the customer asked for.
- Priority Delivery: you receive the full $1.99 priority fee when the customer chooses it.
- Tips: you keep 100% of customer tips.
- You see the expected pay before you accept an order. Earnings are paid weekly: every Monday, the past week's earnings are sent to your bank through Stripe.
- Groceries are paid with the E2U payment method provided for the order, never with your own money.
3. Rules of conduct
- Shop carefully: check dates, sizes and brands. If an item is missing, contact the customer by chat or video call before choosing a replacement.
- Mark each item as found, replaced or not found in the app, and upload the store receipt when asked.
- Be polite and respectful to customers and store staff. No harassment, discrimination, or unsafe driving.
- Do not use customer phone numbers or addresses for anything other than the delivery.
- Do not drive under the influence, and follow all traffic laws.
- Report accidents, safety problems or damaged goods to E2U support right away.
4. App terms of use
- Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- The app uses your location while you are online to offer and track orders.
- Your documents and tax details are stored securely and are only seen by E2U staff who approve drivers.
- E2U may update these terms. When it does, the app will ask you to accept the new version.
